Terms & Conditions

 

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all treatments, services, and appointments booked with Towan Health (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply.

2. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments can be booked online or directly with us. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel treatment at our discretion if a client is deemed unsuitable following consultation, medical assessment, or failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.


3. Consultations & Suitability

All clients are required to complete a consultation and medical history form prior to treatment.

Treatment suitability will be assessed on the day of the appointment. We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment if contraindications are identified, including but not limited to medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, skin conditions, or recent procedures.


4. Informed Consent

Written informed consent is required prior to all treatments. By proceeding with treatment, you confirm that:

  • You      have disclosed all relevant medical information accurately 
  • You      understand the nature, risks, and limitations of the treatment 
  • You      have had the opportunity to ask questions 

Clients must be 18 years or over. Proof of age may be requested.


5. Treatments & Outcomes

Microneedling and facial acupuncture treatments are non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Multiple sessions may be required to achieve desired outcomes. No claims, guarantees, or warranties are made regarding specific results.

Treatments provided do not constitute medical diagnosis or medical treatment.


6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations      or reschedules made outside of this period may result in loss of deposit      or full treatment charge 
  • Failure      to attend an appointment (no-show) will be charged in full 
  • Late      arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation, at our      discretion 

Deposits are non-refundable.


7. Payments & Refunds

Payment is required as outlined at the time of booking.

Refunds are not provided for completed treatments or missed appointments. Prepaid courses or packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.


8. Courses & Packages

Courses must be used within the recommended treatment timeframe and cannot be transferred to another individual.

Unused sessions are not refundable. If treatment is discontinued due to medical unsuitability, remaining sessions may be credited at our discretion.


9. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete medical information 
  • Follow all pre- and post-treatment advice provided 
  • Notify us of any changes to medical history or medication prior to treatment 


We are not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from failure to disclose information or failure to follow aftercare instructions.


10. Aftercare

Aftercare advice will be provided following treatment. It is the client’s responsibility to follow this guidance.

We accept no liability for complications or adverse reactions arising from non-compliance with aftercare instructions.


11. Adverse Reactions & Complications

While all reasonable care is taken, all aesthetic treatments carry potential risks. Temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, bruising, or sensitivity may occur.

We are not liable for reactions that are known risks of treatment and have been discussed during consultation and consent.


12. Data Protection & Privacy

Client information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By booking an appointment, you consent to the collection and storage of your personal and medical data for treatment and legal purposes.


13. Right to Refuse Treatment

We reserve the right to refuse treatment at any time where it is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or contraindicated, or where a client behaves in a manner that is abusive, inappropriate, or unsafe.


14. Complaints

Any concerns or complaints should be raised directly with us as soon as possible. We aim to address all complaints professionally and promptly.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Towan Health shall not be liable for:

  • Undisclosed medical conditions 
  • Failure to follow aftercare advice 
  • Outcomes that fall within normal treatment risks 


Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.


16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
